Jorge Manuel Amador Galufo, aka Jorginho (born 29 May 1978 in Sines), is a Portuguese footballer who plays for F.C. Arouca as a left defender.

Football career

After several seasons with local outfit Clube de Futebol Vasco da Gama, Jorginho moved in January 2005 to Serie B outfit Modena FC, teaming up with compatriot Manú, loaned by S.L. Benfica.

In 2005–06, he returned to Portugal, playing two seasons in the second division with Grupo Desportivo Estoril Praia. Afterwards, he moved to Vitória Futebol Clube, making his top flight debut on 23 September 2007, playing the entire match in a 2–2 draw at Sporting Clube de Portugal. Still, he featured sparingly during the season.

Jorginho joined Asteras Tripoli FC (a team which also featured three other Portuguese players) in August 2008 but, unsettled, returned home after only a few months, joining F.C. Paços de Ferreira during the January transfer window. On March 7, he played his first match for his new club, also against Sporting (0–2 away loss).
